Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In November I punched [info]noangelshere in the arm (-10 points). Last month I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). Last Tuesday I bought porn for [info]eighmelin (10 points). In September I stole [info]kp27's purse (-30 points). In July I donated bone marrow to [info]rubylizard in a life-saving procedure (300 points).

Overall, I've been nice (596 points). For Christmas I deserve a new dolly!

Sincerely,

circle [Sep. 8th, 2006|02:09 pm]
THe circle of life completes itself!

Back in my day, I used to listen to Sarah McLaclan almost everyday. Today I tried a experiment on my son for nap time.

I have gotten very tired of lullaby's when i put my son to nap. Today i decided to use Sarah McLachlan's music to help me in getting my son to sleep for nap time.

In a matter of minutes (2!), Daniel when to sleep.

THere is so many skills that Sarah McLachlan has which many of us don't even know about.

Try it yourself and see what I mean.

Say hi to me if you get a chance. I have gotten very bored when Daniel is asleep.

Later.

Baby [Jun. 15th, 2006|03:32 pm]
[Current Location |Daniel's room]
[mood |indescribable]
[music |Jaw's theme song]

I never really understood what the big deal about having a baby was. I KNOW DIFFERENTLY NOW! Let me give you the situation...

It is about 3:30 am.

Amy just finished feeding Daniel.

Amy has a really bad headache!

Time for me to change Daniel's diaper and keep him away from Amy so she can get some sleep.

Here is the bad part...pay attention!!!

I take Daniel into his bedroom to change his Diaper.
....HE IS CRYING HIS EYE'S OUT AS HARD AS HE CAN!
...........I open his diaper.
It is wet and poopy (for lack of a better word).
I almost change his diaper...I put Balmex on my finger and wipe his but (nuthing new yet).
.....I hear something....
...da...da...da...da...da...
I close his new diaper just in time to catch a poopbomb. You would think I averted the damage!

I change his diaper again........I turn my head to throw out the old diaper.......
....DA.....DA.....DA.....DA....DA....DA...DA...DA..DA..DA..DA.DA.DA.DA......DADADADADADA!

SUPERPOOP...ON MY ARM!!!!

I wanted to call for help, but Amy is asleep with a very bad headache and I didn't want to wake her. (GULP...GULP...ALMOST THREW UP).

So with one arm covered in wet poop (did I mentioned COVERED!), I managed to change Daniel's diaper AGAIN.

Then I too off my shirt, cleaned myself, and took the crying machine downstairs to watch time for about 3 hours.

(you know there is interesting things on TV at 3am.)

That is my story. I know there is bad stuff in the world, but that is my story for now.

Keep on rocking in the free world.

The Veteran
You scored 90%!
You've picked up the majority of the classic rock basics. You probably have a classic rock collection and can sing along with most of the songs on your local radio station. This is not the highest score, but it is arguably the best: that subtle combination of impressive knowledge and not being a pretentious geek.

music time [Nov. 22nd, 2005|03:11 pm]

the "guess the song" music meme:

Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play.
Step 2: Write down the first line from the first 20 songs that play or close to it.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from.
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

  1. Guess my music )

    Have fun
